Privacy Policy

We understand that FalahiX handles sensitive information belonging to students, parents, teachers and school staff, and we take that responsibility seriously. This Privacy Policy describes what information is collected through the FalahiX platform, how it is used, who it may be shared with, and the choices available to you. By using any FalahiX application, or by a school enrolling you or your child on the platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

This policy applies to:

• The FalahiX website at falahix.in
• The FalahiX Admin Panel used by school administrators
• The Student/Parent App — used by parents and guardians to view fees, homework, attendance and school communication
• The Teacher/Staff App — used by teachers and staff to mark attendance, record marks, and apply for leave
• The Driver App — used by school transport staff for live route and pickup/drop tracking

Each school that subscribes to FalahiX manages its own instance of the platform and is responsible for the accuracy of the data it enters, including student, parent and staff records.

Name, email address, mobile number, role (parent, teacher, staff or driver), school code, and login credentials provided by the school administration or by you during account setup.

Class and section details, timetable, homework, exam and marks records, session/attendance history, and leave applications, as entered by the school or its staff through the platform.

Fee structure, due amounts, payment status and transaction references. Where online fee payment is enabled, payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways — FalahiX does not collect or store your card, UPI or bank account credentials.

Messages, circulars and notifications exchanged between the school and parents/staff through the in-app chat and notification features.

Collected only through the Driver App, and only while a trip is active, to enable live bus tracking for parents. See Section 7 for details.

Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, app version, and basic usage/crash logs, collected automatically to help us maintain security and improve app performance.

• To operate the core features of each app — attendance, homework, fees, exams, leave, and transport tracking
• To send notifications, circulars and alerts related to your child's or your own school activity
• To authenticate accounts and maintain the security of the platform
• To provide customer support to schools and app users
• To maintain, troubleshoot and improve the reliability and performance of our apps
• To comply with legal, regulatory or educational-authority requirements applicable to the school

We do not use student, parent or staff data for advertising, and we do not sell personal information to any third party.

Each school acts as the data controller for the information of its own students, parents and staff; FalahiX and CPS Company act as the data processor operating the platform on the school's behalf. Access within the platform is role-based — for example, a parent can only view their own child's records, and a teacher can only view records for their assigned classes.

We may share information with:

• The specific school the account is linked to, and its authorised administrators
• Service providers who support our operations — such as cloud hosting, SMS/email/push-notification providers, payment gateways, and mapping/GPS services — bound by confidentiality obligations
• Government or regulatory authorities, where required to comply with applicable law

FalahiX is a business-to-business platform licensed to schools, and student records are entered and managed by the school, not created independently by children. Access to a student's information through the Student/Parent App is intended to be used by the parent or legal guardian, whose account is set up in coordination with the school.

By enrolling a student on the FalahiX platform, the school confirms that it has obtained any consent required from parents or guardians under applicable law for the processing of the student's information through our platform. We do not knowingly permit children to independently register for or operate parent-level accounts without adult involvement.

The Driver App requests access to device location solely to power live route and pickup/drop tracking for the school vehicle it is assigned to.

• Location is collected only while a trip is marked active by the driver — not continuously in the background outside trip hours
• Live location is shared with the school administration and with parents of students on that specific route, so they can track pickup/drop timing
• Location history is retained only as long as necessary for route records and is not used for any purpose unrelated to school transport
• Drivers can disable location access at any time from their device settings, which will disable the live-tracking feature of the app

We apply industry-standard safeguards to protect the information on our platform, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), role-based access controls so users only see data relevant to them, and restricted internal access to production data limited to authorised personnel for support and maintenance purposes. While we work to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Information is retained for as long as the school's FalahiX subscription remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward to support academic records, backups, and legal or regulatory obligations. A school may request deletion or export of its data, or of a specific student's or staff member's record, by contacting us using the details in Section 13.

Depending on your role, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information held on the FalahiX platform. Because student and staff records are entered and owned by the school, most such requests should first be raised with your school's administration; the school may then coordinate directly with us for the technical action.

You may also write to us directly at care@cpscompany.in with your request, and we will guide you or coordinate with the relevant school as appropriate.

The FalahiX website (falahix.in) may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand basic site usage so we can improve it. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the website may not function as intended if cookies are disabled.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our platform or applicable law. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly, and where changes are significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify subscribing schools.
